Realization 101: Moon

This was not what we saw but this too is beautiful.
One evening when my friends and I were walking home from a tiring day of cheer dance practice we saw the moon all round and reddish in color. We were awed by what we saw so we took a moment to look at it and decided to just sit for a while and enjoy the view. We want to take a photo of the moon at that moment but neither one of us has no good quality camera that could take a picture of such thing. Instead, we tried calling whoever was passing through us to give them a chance to see something wonderful but sadly not all of them were able to see it because the moon was half covered by the clouds and some were riding tricycles and were going too fast to take a look at it. And by that situation I made two realizations;

(1)    In life, we do not fully appreciate things around us because we are too busy to even look at the sky above us. If we just take a second of our lives to look around, we may find something that can take our breaths away. We do not see earth to as what it really is - -beautiful and full of wonders, If we had not walked home, we would not have seen one of the wonders of earth. I advise all of you to just spend even a minute of your life and take a look around you (forget about the trashes all over the places and pollution) it’s beautiful, isn’t it? The thing is, we tend to forget the beautiful things because all we can think of is the bad things that has been set up in our minds but if we look deep into ourselves we can find the light that can let us see things in more vibrant way. In this, we can now appreciate little things in our own ways.

(2)    The reddish moon at that night is a symbol of an individual shining bright and showing its best to the world. Others may see it, others may not. But whatever happens, keep shining and don’t let anyone or anything pull you down. The moon may be covered by the clouds but did it stop shining and pleasing everyone who saw it? No it didn’t. Insecurities, fear and lack of confidence may be the reasons why a person fails but remember to be just like the moon, don’t let it be the reason why you are kept in the dark. Instead make it a reason why you grew stronger and shinier than you ever did before. Shine no matter what and don’t let anything stop you from being the best.

Let this situation be an inspiration to all of you. Keep your head up always and don’t miss out things that are worth seeing and learn lessons from. Let this be a guide in your everyday life, that no matter what happens keep shining and be at your very best for all we may know, somewhere out there you made someone happy by lighting one of the dark moments of their lives.
