"If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane." -John Green, Looking For Alaska
The second on the list of John Green's book is Looking for Alaska. It's not your typical book story as it focuses on Miles "Pudge" Halters craving to seek for a great perhaps, which as Francois Rabelais last word. (Some says it's much more better than TFIOS, which was the book featured on my first post.) After heading off to Culver Creek Boarding school, he met Alaska Young. And after, nothing is ever the same.
On 25th of June 2014, John Green announced on his twitter account that he Canadian actor-director Sarah Polley will be directing the film adaptation of Looking for Alaska. Fans of John Green are looking forward to it as the movie of The Fault in Our Stars was a hit, gaining 48.2 million dollar on its opening last June 6. This puts too much pressure on the casts and staffs doing the movie. And the success of TFIOS is believed to be the cause of the high expectations of the spectators. But who cares, I'M EXCITED FOR THE RELEASE.
"I'm the mother fucking fox."
